The Newest Summit Community to Join the Fun!
Summit Communities just welcomed its newest property to the portfolio in May of 2021, Arboreta Apartments. This 268 unit, partially renovated property was acquired for $69.5M. The purchase was detailed in the Denver Business Journal in the article “Aurora apartments sell for $69.5M after renovations” by Kate Tracy. Tracy makes note that the previous management company has originally purchased Arboreta apartments for $46M.
Property Purchased and Its Potential Unlocked
Highland Way Apartments is still an ongoing project for Summit Communities with its renovations continuing onward. On top of the standard renovations that are taking place inside of the units, such as the in-unit laundry, stainless steel appliances, and updated flooring; Highland Way has been working on improving the outward look of the property with new paint and fresh landscaping.
Great Sale on a Garden-Style Community in Westminster
Willowbrook Apartments had many long-standing residents that had been living around the same people for many years, and upon sale of the community, many of those residents had remained at the apartments with brand new renovations to enjoy. With the options of transferring available to the current residents, Summit was able to keep the community whole while giving it a much needed update.

Glenn has been a part of the Summit team since 2019, and has been an incredible asset to every property he’s been at. Glenn is always more than willing to help anyone who needs it, even sending his maintenance guys to other properties if they need assistance.

Jenesse joined the Summit Communities team in May of 2022 as the leasing agent for one of Summit’s newest properties, Arboreta Apartments. Jenesse hit the ground running at Arboreta and worked hard to provide excellent customer service to all residents.

Fredy Estrada is one of the newer members of the Summit Community team, being with the company for less than a full year. Despite not being with Summit for very long, Fredy has already made great impressions with leaders and residents alike. Fredy was originally brought on to lead up the maintenance team at Parkside Apartments, and his performance and strong work ethic earned him a spot as a maintenance lead at the newly acquired Albion Apartments.

With solid proof of hard work and good ethics an employee can move from the bottom to the top in a short amount of time. Kevin Renderos started at Summit Communities as a leasing consultant in the summer of 2021 and quickly proved that he was destined to move up. His hard work and dedication to the leasing job proved that he had a passion for the industry, and passion is the most important thing to have in any job.

They value the hard work of their employees, and always strive to highlight those that go above and beyond in their position. Jesus Villa Vasquez is one such employee.
